But please ...</title><content type='html'>....like pushing a string up a wall!!! But please keep up the exposure. I wonder what the hospital dietitians say at each location? Another place to look with your handy camera is the facility that cooks the patient meals delivered to the bedside.  One of my obese patients in the community was in hosp. locally with pulmonary hypertention and had fat free white bread, cheese singles, the &amp;#39;fresh fruit&amp;#39; was three bananas daily, special desert was syropy canned peaches,main meal grey-green peas, mashed potatoes and meat loaf. At 390 lb she lost weight, but had all her friends bring in pretzels and chips because the food was &amp;#39;disgusting&amp;#39;, and she refused to eat much of it.  The first two weeks after a four month stay gained back half of 40lb weight loss....They somehow couldn&amp;#39;t show by example any good and delicious choices to teach her during her long stay. Although on the website it says &amp;quot;We Provide Nutrient And Ingredient Content Information About The Food We Serve&amp;quot;.  Why can&amp;#39;t the hospital share this then?  I work at another hospital and don&amp;#39;t both with the entrees in our cafeteria unless I have a lot of office work to do and can sit there(a heavy, salty meal doesn&amp;#39;t energize you). Ice cream, chips, chocolate bars...Not often mind you, but why is a hospital a destination for harmful food?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you for your hard work.
