Why is pizza particularly bad for you? Are most of the foods particularly &amp;quot;bad&amp;quot;, or should people instead be focusing on *portion size*?&lt;br /&gt;3) Fundraising should be in part focusing on business and sales, rather than preaching about food, shouldn&amp;#39;t it? If the goal is to raise money for something unrelated to health and food, why force it down people&amp;#39;s throats if must of what the public wants (and buys) is not necessarily &amp;quot;bad&amp;quot; for you (which goest back to question 2)?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It&amp;#39;s great they&amp;#39;re getting rid of fried foods and such, but what are people trying to teach? There were concerns about some aspects, especially around the use of food in fundraisers and special events, but kudos to Nova Scotia for moving forward with this and being national leaders! I know of people who have been trying for exactly this in our schools for a long time and have met with ongoing opposition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;People have been so indoctrinated by big business into thinking that junk food is everyday food that it&amp;#39;s a wonder that the school board was able to get this far and go so completely &amp;#39;right&amp;#39; in their policies.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kudos to them!
