It completely eludes me why Heart and Stroke would continue to promote this program given all the shortfalls. When your efforts are criticized on national television (on 2 seperate occasions), why would you not go back to the drawing board or just scrap the whole thing - admit your errors and wrongdoing, and hope to maintain a semblance of credibility and integrity in doing so. Standing your ground when growing concensus suggests you are in the wrong is probably the worst possible move.
ReplyDeleteIt absolutely makes my blood boil when I see those H & S commercials on TV. Every day that goes by and H & S continues to endorse its flawed program, their credibility sinks. It would be sad to see such an easily-reversible error sink the entire organization.
