Pretty Sure Obesity And/Or Inactivity Consequent to This Show Being Cancelled

All I can say about this week's Funny Friday video is OMG I'm sad this is no longer on.

Ha, ha. I think this is the forerunner to the "30 minute workout" Thanks for the smile.

  5. Well, this would explain some of today's demand for hip and knee replacements...

Now we have Zumba. Different music, some of the same moves, same philosophy - keep it fun! Unfortunately many of those of us who are old enough to have done Jazzercise now have bad joints & can't do Zumba. If there had been another dance/exercise fad between Jazzercise & Zumba maybe we wouldn't all be so stiff & sore now - lol.

  7. Jazzercise is having a revival (at least in Victoria). It's all over the place, to the point where in the past year most of the group warm ups at local races have been led by Jazzercise teachers. I prefer a less jazzy warm up.

  8. I love! Love! Love! Jazzercise. It's a great alternative to regular aerobics or zumba. 30 min of aerobics 30 min strength, great music, choreography, a phonomenal burn and incredible results...and I don't even work for'em! I challenge anyone who would blow it off as a less than legit workout to attend a class...bet'cha break a sweat!

  9. awesome! From the same era as this: http://i.imgur.com/5vMGK.jpg I started weight training on one of those in the high school weight room. No bells and whistles and the 'fancy program' we followed was 3 sets of 10, but it worked. Eventually moved to free weights but it was always about fun and effort and consistency not technology or flash. My first job at a gym was at the same health club where they filmed the campy movie, "Perfect". Those were some goofy times.

  11. Jazzercise is quite popular here in the US.

It was a series of videos (and many more since), not a show, so I don't understand the point of the post's title.

Here is the press kit for Jazzercise which outlines the history of the company, videos, television appearances, endorsements, awards, etc.
