Guess what? I love eating lemons and always have...my grandson who is two loves them too! He will eat it right down to the rind and not even pucker! Weird huh?

ReplyDeleteWhen I told some friends my family let babies taste horseradish at their first roast beef dinner they thought it was cruel and unusual! I'll just have to show them this lemon video from now on. Incidentally, I now love horseradish and lemons - bigdaddyandbekbek you should try eating the rind sometime, it's my favourite part!

ReplyDeleteParents introduce a food that nature clearly abhors and risk citrus allergy. Ever thought of the amount of pesticides and bacteria also introduced?

I'd say it's more your sense of observation that's perhaps underdeveloped as if the children were actually suffering, they'd likely not go back for more. More likely still, if the children in the video were unhappy, do you think they might do that thing that kids do when they're unhappy? I think it's called crying.
ReplyDeleteYour citrus allergy comment's certainly valid. Everything else to me smacks of knee jerk.
My parents have a set of photos of me at my first birthday party. One shows me with my nose in an unattended gin and tonic glass, and the next picture shows me chewing the lemon.
